M. Barden Prisant graduated from Yale in 1982 with a B.A. in Art History; that same year, he founded Telepraisal, Inc. He has held the post of Adjunct Professor at New York University and was a Contributing Editor for the magazine Art Business News for more than a decade. He is the author of more than 60 published articles and was a contributor to the book which accompanied the Antiques Roadshow. In 2002, he was named an Eminent Professional Fellow of the 120,000-member Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the body which oversees the appraisal profession in the U.K. AOA member since 2009. Jerry Goroski is a fine art consultant and appraiser with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, with a Major in Fine Arts, and Minors in Art History and Art Education. Valerie McAleenan, Timeless NeedleArts Appraisals, specializing in textiles stitched with needle-in-hand, since 2006.  Graduate of the American Needlepoint Guild’s NeedleArts Appraisal Program where she also served as Vice-Chair and Chair. She has taught needlework and guest-lectured on the merits of having needlework appraised at the national level.  She continues to teach locally at Peacock Alley Needlepoint, which she co-owned from 1999-2009.   She has been stitching since 1984 and has taken numerous courses through the Royal School of Needlework, UK. Cordelia Mendoza, ISA was the previous owner of an antique retail business and an antique mall owner for over twenty-two years. She has over twenty years’ experience appraising all household and antique items for estate and probate attorneys, as well as for insurance purposes.
